GHOST TALK

The music for “Speak no Evil” follows the story as it slowly twists from an idyllic visit to the english countryside to a horrifying discovery and finally into an explosive climax. We used a huge variety of acoustic instruments to evoke at folksy, ritualistic tone. Tribal frame drums and jangling metallic percussion, a breathy, moaning Hurdy Gurdy, and strange woodwinds along with more traditional elements such as a a string orchestra. The score shifts from impressionist orchestral textures to ambient eeriness, culminating into the final two cues which meld the all of the suppressed violence and fear into an epic release.
